Marketing Associate
We are looking for someone with a creative, resourceful and curious mind to join our marketing team. Our marketing team is responsible for the production of external and internal firm communications of the highest quality. Our mission involves sourcing interesting and valuable content, publishing or presenting it in a variety of formats and media, and tracking, reporting and acting on the responses and results.
Duties:
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to manage and take ownership of a diversity of projects. These will include a combination of: coordinating industry and practice area team marketing meetings; creation and maintenance of SharePoint team collaboration sites and internal firm information sites; CRM system record maintenance; research on pertinent topics for article and white paper drafts; creation of visually interesting and mentally appealing marketing pieces and postings; administration of social media and partner/sponsor site presence and activity, monitoring of media query postings; press release creation and distribution; event planning, coordination and hosting; administration of firm bio and portrait libraries; and occasional assistance to the firm photographer. Additional passions are welcomed.
Requirements:
- Background or training in marketing strategy and program implementation
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience with marketing email delivery system(s)
- Graphic design experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign
- Working knowledge of basic html coding
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn and Facebook
- Familiarity with SEO and tracking/reporting via Google Analytics
- Interest and skills in photography and/or video is also desirable
